RUSH dives into a world split between analog roots and digital dependency. Decades ago, technology sparked Electromagnetically Induced Luminescence Syndrome (EILS)—a condition where dopamine rushes caused eyes to flicker with light. Over time, it evolved into something more: glarers, people whose eyes glow constantly, unable to find satisfaction outside the digital realm.

In TheCity, a sprawling maze of skyscrapers and shadows, technology drives progress, but it also deepens the divide. Glarers thrive in this tech-fueled world, while flickers, those who resist the mutation, are left to scrape by on the fringes.

At the center of it all is Joshua, a glarer who’s beginning to see the cracks in this digital utopia. As the world teeters on instability, Joshua feels the tension in his own body, caught between what humanity has gained and

what it’s lost.

RUSH is a story about the cost of progress, the pull of technology, and what it means to truly connect in a world that’s breaking apart.
